OperoOps works with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 and 9.2 across all current Tools Releases. Monitored components: HTML servers, enterprise servers, the database tier (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM Db2), the Orchestrator, integration servers, and standard scheduled jobs.
Are the agents intrusive?
No. Agents run read-only with low CPU footprint (typically < 1%). They collect telemetry — they don't change anything on the host. If your security policy requires it, we provide a full audit of what the agents do and don't do, plus the source.
For environments where installing an agent isn't possible, OperoOps can run in agentless mode via SSH/SNMP/WMI — with reduced fidelity but zero footprint on the host.
Cloud or on-premises?
Three options. Cloud (SaaS) backend on IONOS Germany — fastest to deploy, lowest operational overhead. On-premises in your data center for customers with strict data-residency rules. Your own cloud — we deploy and manage the OperoOps backend inside your Azure, AWS, or GCP tenant.
Agents communicate outbound only — no inbound ports required on your JDE servers, regardless of which backend deployment you choose.
How do alerts get routed?
Email, SMS, webhook (Teams, Slack, PagerDuty, your ITSM system), or phone call for Sev1. Routing rules support on-call rotations, escalations, quiet hours, and severity-based delivery channels.
For Care customers, Sev1 alerts can route directly to Suppora's on-call response — your team doesn't have to be the first responder for critical incidents.
How is data hosted? What about GDPR?
OperoOps backend runs on IONOS Germany. Telemetry is stored encrypted. No JDE business data leaves your environment — agents only collect operational metrics (CPU, disk, response times, service status). Full Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag (AVV) on request.
How does it relate to existing monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog…)?
OperoOps doesn't replace your generic infrastructure monitoring — it specialises. Where Nagios watches a server's CPU, OperoOps watches the JDE component running on that server: kernel status, PORT counts, queue depth, scheduled-job execution. The two are complementary.
For customers with an existing monitoring platform, OperoOps can integrate via webhooks and dashboards — feeding JDE-specific signals into your existing operational view.
What does it cost?
OperoOps is sized per number of monitored servers, with tiered pricing for small, mid, and large environments. Care customers include OperoOps in their package (Essential covers 3 servers, Professional 8, Enterprise unlimited). Standalone customers receive a custom proposal. Get in touch for a quote.
Can we trial it before committing?
Yes — we run focused pilots, typically 4 to 6 weeks on a subset of the JDE environment. Enough time to baseline normal behaviour, validate alert routing, and demonstrate that the platform catches real issues. Talk to us to scope a pilot.
